GSA Furniture Schedule 71

Effective October 1, 2009, GSA has consolidated all Furniture and Floor Covering Schedules into two new Schedules: GSA Furniture Schedule 71 and GSA Furnishings and Floor Coverings Schedule 72. The GSA Furniture Schedule 71 provides federal agencies with a broad range of furniture solutions from file cabinets, workstation clusters, and acoustical partitions for office settings to beds, wardrobes, and medical head-walls with patient service systems for hospitals. Schedule 71 is most likely the appropriate Schedule if your business sells or manufactures furniture, seating, or storage solutions for any of the following:
  • Hospitals
  • Cafeterias
  • Dormitories
  • Daycare Centers
  • Libraries
  • Museums
  • Correctional Institutions
  • Training Rooms, Auditoriums, and Theaters

Note: Certain SINs under the GSA Furniture Schedule 71 Contract are small business set-asides.
The GSA Schedule 71, like all GSA Schedules, is broken down into a number of categories called Special Item Numbers (SINs). Businesses looking to obtain a Furniture Schedule or add SINs to an existing Schedule should be aware that certain SINs under Schedule 71 are reserved for small businesses.
