Government Spending through GSA & VA Schedules

Federal, state, and local government buyers spent nearly $45 billion through GSA and VA Schedule Contracts in fiscal year 2016.

The GSA Schedules Program is broken down into approximately 35 “Schedules”, or contracts, based upon category of offering. Sales for each of these Schedules are detailed below. As always, the GSA Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 Contract comes in at number one with more than $14.7 billion in sales. The VA Pharmaceuticals & Drugs Schedule took in the second highest sales in fiscal year 2016. Having gone through major changes last year, the Consolidated Schedule – now the Professional Services Schedule (PSS) – comes in third with more than $9.8 billion in sales.

While there are some exceptions, GSA/VA Schedule Contracts can be used to sell most commercially available products and services. Learn more about the GSA Schedules Program.
