The Consolidated GSA MAS Contract is Here!
After countless surveys, several Industry Days, two RFIs, and a number of webinars, GSA delivered on its plan to close the 24 legacy GSA Schedules and release one consolidated GSA Schedule Contract. While the behind-the-scenes research began in 2017, it was not until November of 2018 that GSA publicly announced its ambitious plan to consolidate the 24 GSA Schedules into one Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contract. On Monday evening, less than a year after the first public announcement, GSA posted the new MAS solicitation on FBO.
If this is the first you’re hearing of the GSA MAS Consolidation, you can catch up on the what, why, when, and how here. Otherwise, you can review our summary of the new MAS Contract below.

What Has Changed in the Consolidated MAS Contract?
While the legacy contracts were typically referred to as GSA Schedules, the new contract is officially the GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract or MAS for short. The structure and SIN numbers are significantly different in the new, consolidated GSA MAS Contract. Depending upon your circumstances, the new MAS solicitation provides two alternatives to the Dun & Bradstreet Open Ratings Past Performance Evaluation Report. In many cases, the required project experience has been reduced compared to the legacy GSA Schedule solicitations. However, in the grand scheme of things, many of the requirements to obtain the contract remain the same or very similar.
