This Giving Tuesday, FEDSched is happy to continue its annual support of the DC Central Kitchen’s mission to nourish and empower communities and Wreaths Across America’s efforts to honor our veterans at Arlington National Cemetery.

,000 donation to DCCK will go even further, as it was matched by a coalition of supporters. In addition to providing over 3 million nutritious meals each year, DCCK trains people within the community for careers within the culinary industry. FEDSched’s founder, Roxanne, began the tradition in 2004 when she heard the organization was short on food supplies for holiday meals.
In the same spirit, FEDSched’s president, Julie, began an annual company donation to Wreaths Across America in 2013, when the local chapter reported a shortage of wreaths that year. Today, FEDSched contributed 50 wreaths to honor our veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. Volunteers will place the wreaths on December 16, 2017. In addition to Arlington National Cemetery, Wreaths Across America accepts donations and volunteers at over 1,200 locations nationwide.
