GEOINT Symposium

Date: June 2-5, 2019
Location: Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, TX

Event Description:
The GEOINT Symposium is a four day event presented by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF). This annual event brings together geospatial intelligence professionals from the private, public, and academic sectors.

GEOINT 2018 included a Government Pavilion with speakers from the General Services Administration (GSA) and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Representatives from GSA and NGA spoke about the Commercial Initiative to Buy Operationally Responsive GEOINT (CIBORG) program. The two agencies have been collaborating to help NGA purchase geospatial intelligence data, products, and services through the GSA Information Technology (IT) Schedule 70 Contract. In June 2017, GSA added a subcategory to the IT Schedule 70 Contract for Earth Observation Solutions (EOS).
