Melody Giangreco Smith is an experienced contracts manager with over twenty years in the federal contracting field. Ms. Smith joined Federal Schedules in 1998 as a Contracts Administrator, bringing with her ten years of contracts experience. Prior to joining Federal Schedules, Ms. Smith was a certified paralegal specializing in corporate Information Technology (IT) mergers and acquisitions.
 
Ms. Smith served as a Senior Paralegal for national and international IT corporations and was responsible for creating applications for financial organizations, medical offices, law firms, associations, and foundations.
 
While at Federal Schedules, Ms. Smith has successfully negotiated hundreds of Government Contracts on behalf of Federal Schedules' clients, with a primary focus on GSA Schedule Contracts. In 2000, Ms. Smith was promoted to Executive Contracts Manager, taking on the added responsibilities of leading a contracts team. Her dedication to the industry has allowed her to become a skilled professional with a broad background and an expansive knowledge base from which her team and clients can draw.
 
Ms. Smith has extensive experience across all of the GSA Schedules including, but not limited to the: GSA IT-70, MOBIS, AIMS, PES, and Human Resources and EEO Services Schedule Solicitations. Ms. Smith also possesses an in-depth knowledge of State Contracts, spanning from California to New York.
 
Ms. Smith is an engaging speaker with a wealth of knowledge.  She is one of the lead presenters at GSA's Business Breakthrough workshop series conducted nationwide.  Ms. Smith also leads Federal Schedules' interactive GSA Schedule Contract information sessions, held periodically throughout the year.
 
Melody Giangreco received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BA) in Government Administration and Politics from George Mason University in 1988. Ms. Smith is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
