Federal Schedules Donates to DCCK & Wreaths Across America
Since its founding in 1986, Federal Schedules, Inc. (FEDSched) has maintained a culture of giving back to the community. As a company, each year we volunteer at the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, participate in the Race for the Cure, and donate during Lee National Denim Day.
During the holidays, we also donate to the DC Central Kitchen (DCCK). Last month FEDSched sent a $1,000 Costco gift card to support DCCK’s food supply needs. FEDSched’s founder, Roxanne H. Dobrynski, began the tradition in 2004 when she heard the organization was short on food supplies for holiday meals. With DCCK’s holiday donations back up, our donation of turkeys has transitioned to donations of gift cards. This allows DCCK to spend the money as needed when donations slow after the holidays.
In the same spirit, FEDSched’s president, Julie Crosby, began a company donation to Wreaths Across America in 2013, when the local chapter reported a shortage of wreaths that year. Earlier this month, FEDSched contributed 50 wreaths to honor our veterans at Arlington National Cemetery.
As a company we are thankful to be in position to give back to our community. We thank our clients for trusting us with their GSA Schedule Contract needs and wish everyone a very happy holiday season!
