If your company employs 50 or more employees and holds a GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Contract or another contract valued at $50,000 or more, you are required to develop and have on file an Affirmative Action Program (AAP). This is not a new requirement. What is new, is the Department of Labor Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs’ (OFCCP) portal to track vendor compliance.
OFCCP Contractor Portal
OFCCP is now using the new Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI), referred to as the Contractor Portal, to monitor compliance with existing AAP requirements. That means companies meeting the criteria above, that are already required to maintain an Affirmative Action Plan, are now also required to register and, on an annual basis, certify their compliance on the OFCCP Contractor Portal.
