Some GSA Special Item Numbers (SINs) offer a broad range of products and services. For these SINs, GSA eBuy uses subgroups to help government buyers find the solutions they need faster and to help contractors that offer those solutions stand out.
As part of GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Consolidation plan, GSA eBuy was updated on August 1, 2020 to remove references to the legacy GSA Schedules and SINs. If you had previously selected subgroups in eBuy under the legacy SIN structure, you’ll have to re-select the appropriate subgroups.
Selecting subgroups in eBuy allows you to highlight your specific offerings and does not limit your ability to view eBuy opportunities. To clarify, if your company selects one or more subgroups, you will still have full access to all eBuy opportunities under your awarded SIN(s).
Not all GSA contractors have the option to select subgroups in eBuy. Late last month, GSA announced the list of SINs under the new MAS Contract that have subgroups. The chart below includes a list of GSA SINs with subgroups in eBuy. You can search for your SINs to see if they’re included in the list.
