Peter A. Cowles
Executive Contracts Manager
Peter Cowles joined the Federal Schedules team in 2012 after earning a Master’s Degree from the University at Buffalo. Peter collaborates with clients and GSA on a daily basis to obtain GSA Schedule Contract awards, modification approvals, and contract extensions. He was promoted from Contracts Administrator to Contracts Specialist in 2014, and rose to the position of Contracts Manager in January of 2016 before becoming an Executive Contracts Manager in 2022.
GSA Contract Expertise
While a majority of Peter’s clients are small business service providers, he has also worked with non-profits and a number of well-known manufacturers. Peter has extensive experience with all GSA Large Categories including, but not limited to the: IT (formerly IT Schedule 70), Professional Services, Office Management, Security, Scientific, Facilities, and Industrial Large Categories. His project expertise spans the GSA Contract acquisition lifecycle, from initial market research and proposal development, to contact management, extensions and streamlined new offers.
