Countdown to MAS Catalog Migration Deadline:
UPDATE: GSA extended the deadline to update price lists and GSA Advantage catalogs in accordance with the new consolidated Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Companies have until March 31, 2021 to complete the two-step GSA Advantage MAS update. If your company only holds one GSA Contract, this will be the final action you need to take associated with the MAS Consolidation.
Update Your Catalog to MAS in GSA Advantage
Nearly all GSA contractors have accepted the mass modification to migrate their contract to the new Consolidated GSA Multiple Award Schedule. However, many contractors have yet to complete the corresponding update of their Advantage catalog and GSA price list text file. GSA has urged contractors not to wait to the last minute to complete this required Advantage update.
The GSA Advantage MAS Update is a Two-Step Process:
❶ Update Your GSA Contract Price List
Whether you refer to it as a price list, text file, or terms and conditions, your document needs to be updated to match the Special Item Number (SIN) structure of the MAS Contract. That means cross walking your legacy SINs to the new MAS SINs.
❷ Upload & Migrate Within SIP/EDI
Once you update your GSA Price List, you must upload the revised document to GSA Advantage. You can do this using the Schedule Input Program (SIP) or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) option. During the upload process, if using SIP, you will need to select the “Migrate to MAS” option within the Tools menu. This step is important to all GSA Contractors because it updates the data that feeds into eBuy; it is especially important to product vendors because it updates the SINs within your GSA Advantage product listings.
Don’t risk missing the new March 31, 2020 deadline to update your catalog to MAS. After March 31st, GSA will remove any catalogs and products from Advantage that reference the legacy GSA Schedules and SINs. Access to GSA Advantage and eBuy will also be affected.
