The Army, one of three military departments under the Department of Defense (DOD), is the land warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It serves Americans by providing ready, prompt, and sustained land dominance by Army forces across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the joint force.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) serves as the Army’s principal buying agent and accounts for approximately 70% of the department’s contracting dollars. You can find the AAC and the U.S. Army Materiel Command on Twitter, @ArmyContracting and @ArmyMateriel, sharing information regarding industry outreach events among other news.
